‘Feelings 77’ @ Belapur!

‘Feelings 77’, an exhibition of a series of 77 art works on teabags by Ritu Dua, is scheduled to open at Shaurya Art Gallery, Navi Mumbai from 5th November to 30th November, 2016. There is a perfect blend of Art and Poetry as every remarkable piece of artwork is backed up with a poetic expression.

Ritu Dua discovered that number 77 indicates coming changes of self-discovery or increased knowledge through understanding oneself and ultimately leading to greater motivation, transformation or freedom. And yes, she feels the number is catchy too.
Ritu Dua loves the unpredictability of materials that gets trashed and especially their strange shapes, textures, colours. According to her, such things always carry a story to be heard as against their state of abandoned worthlessness. She is greatly influenced by different forms of creative expression, from music, poetry, film, dance, fashion, textiles, old architecture and design. She perceives colour in music, music in architecture and poetry in lines and brush strokes.
