Exhibition of Paintings & Sculptures
A three-days exhibition of paintings and sculptures will be showcased at the Coomarswami Hall, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai from 23rd to 25thJanuary, 2017. This exhibition titled, ‘Sahayog’, demonstrates how art, can be promoted collaboratively. A part of proceeds will be donated to Toy Bank, a charity that empowers children through play.
‘Each artwork you buy will ensure a toy for a needy child’. This dual purpose allows fine artists to have the profound fulfillment of bringing the beauty of art to the public, while at the same time making valuable contributions to improving our world
A group of 19 well established as well as emerging artists have come forward to offer their finest and vibrant paintings to be displayed at the group exhibition. As this platform has been created by artists for artists, each member of the group is committed to fostering strength and creating future avenues for their community. A unique assemblage of artworks ranging from watercolors, oils, mix media on paper or canvas, to various styles of sculptures, will be on view for the art lover.
The exhibition has been supported by Godrej Tyson Foods, a company that belongs to a group long known for its patronage of the arts and encouragement to upcoming artists.
