National Group Show of Paintings and Sculptures
A group of Contemporary Artists from various parts of the country will be portraying their robust art creations in a week-long exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai from 31stJanuary, 2017. Titled ‘Confluence’ this exhibition will showcase expansive styles of artistic interpretations.
“Confluence means junction of different rivers and this justifies the purpose of our exhibitions. It is not only confluence of artists but also confluence of forms, colors, textures, mediums and subjects”, exclaims Poonam Malik of Zenith Art who has organized the show. Poonam mentions that Zenith Art is essentially an organization where artists from all walk of life come together to expand their vision to assert themselves beyond the affirmations of the art world.
The assemblage of notable artists who will be displaying their remarkable collection include Anil Naik, Anil Gaekwad, Amit, Rajinder Patil, Surendra Jagtap, Ganpat Bhadke, Ramesh Thorat, Pandit Khairnar, Mansi Palshikar, Suhas Bahulkar, D. S. Rane, Murli Lahoti, M. Suryamoorthy, Tapan Das, Tuka Jadhav, R.B. Patil, Vinod Sharma, Poonam Malik, Asit Patnaik, Niren Sen Gupta, Uday Singh, Pandit Khairnar, Jai Zarotia, Rajendra Prasad, Sabia, Hemraj, Asurved, Suresh Kumar, Promod Kurlekar, Sachin Sagare, Nilesh Vede, Sandesh Khule and Vimal Chand.
From the beautiful and striking portray of various subject matters, this exhibition will showcase contemporary, abstract and modern art. The exhibition explains the perceptions of the artist through diverse art forms. The art lovers could find exquisite works of created on different concepts concerning about the artist’s inner perceptions. The artists will also showcase their creativity through well proportioned sculptures.
Apart from hosting Art Exhibitions, Zenith Art also organises Art Camps and Workshops which gives opportunity for artists to learn with each other. It also wants to host international events in future for generating better opportunities and exposures for artists. “Let our art represent universe in all its abundance and multiplicity of life and form. Let us strengthen and connect the art world”, appeals Poonam.
